The goal of Habitat for Humanity is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by working in partnership with God’s people in need. Habitat is a non-profit, ecumenical organization with human need for shelter as the motive for action. Houses built by Habitat are sold at no profit and no interest added, as need –not profit– is our motivation. The income received from the houses sold will be used to build simple, adequate, low-cost homes for families, the elderly, and the disabled in need in St. Johns County.

Local churches and ministries are gearing up to combine volunteer labor and financial support to build a new Habitat home. This is an excellent opportunity to work together to help those in need of decent, affordable
housing in our community. There is still
time to sign up to participate in this exciting and rewarding event! Assign an Apostles Build coordinator who can contact Cheryl, Habitat's Volunteer Coordinator, at 826-3252 ext. 2006 or cheryldhabitat@bellsouth.net to sign your group up to volunteer.
