Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine/St. Johns' building program is financed by private donations from individual, groups, corporations, foundations and faith-based organizations. Sending us a check or donating by credit card are the easiest and most convenient ways to become a part of the Habitat family.

House Sponsorship

In sponsoring or co-sponsoring a Habitat house, businesses, churches, individuals, and other organizations partner with low-income families to provide a safe and affordable place to live. This team building opportunity is a great way for your organization to get involved! This past year, corporations such as Marsh Creek Country Club and The St. Augustine Record have used this opportunity to promote teamwork among their employees.

Donate Stocks, Bonds and Planned Giving.

A gift of stocks or bonds may provide an opportunity for tax savings while generously sharing with others. Please contact your tax accountant for proper tax guidance prior to making this type of donation. Planned gifts are another way to qualify for significant tax deductions. Giving options include bequests to Habitat in wills, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts.

Donate Real Estate

A charitable gift of a building site or real estate would not only mean tax savings to you, but also provides a family with a safe and decent home for many years to come. Please consult with your tax accountant to determine the tax benefits available.

Donate Materials

Habitat depends on the generous donations of companies and individuals to provide materials to build homes for Habitat families. Habitat construction sites need new materials. Your gift of materials will greatly affect the quality of life for Habitat families.

Donate Cars

Your tax-deductible donation of an automobile will provide money through the sell of the vehicle. This helps to fund the building of Habitat homes.

Donations for our ReStore

Donate gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and other household goods to be sold at the Habitat ReStore. Proceeds from the sale of these goods go towards building a home for a family in need in St. Johns County. Call (904) 826-3252 for more information or to arrange for your donation to be picked-up.
